Job Description

This position reports to the Community Zone Liaison Supervisor, and the successful applicant will be responsible to manage, facilitate and produce information that are in compliance with the Company's policies and to liaise between communities of the Project and Management for better understanding and co-operation.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure project awareness is carried out in all communities with consistency either monthly or bi-monthly.
  • Maintain a close dialogue and relationship with the stakeholders and other departments for monthly briefing on issues and concerns within the mine site.
  • Collaborate with other Departments for bi-monthly site visits for interested members of communities and landowners.
  • Production and compilation of information packages to all communities (Landowner, Highway and Riverine)
  • Assist other CA Sections in their respective tasks.
  • Compilation of community concerns and grievances.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in Community Development or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience with resource developher or equivalent.
  • Sound understanding of conflict resolution and communications skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and report writing skills.
  • Ability to manage interpersonal and inter-group conflicts.
  • Be a computer literate

This role is based in Wau Camp site on a 14/7 roster.
