Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive safety programs aligned with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations and industry best practices.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments on construction sites to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Manage workers’ compensation claims efficiently, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to legal requirements.
  • Coordinate with construction management teams to ensure compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and other relevant codes.
  • Oversee occupational health initiatives, including injury prevention programs and wellness activities tailored for construction workers.
  • Utilize construction management software to track safety metrics, incident reports, training records, and compliance documentation.
  • Facilitate safety training sessions for site personnel, emphasizing OSHA standards, risk management strategies, and emergency response procedures.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in construction site safety management or related roles within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, risk management principles, and occupational health practices.
  • Familiarity with NEC standards, workers’ compensation processes, and compliance management systems.
  • Hands-on experience with construction management software tools for reporting and documentation purposes.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and convey safety protocols clearly.
  • Ability to perform site inspections, hazard assessments, and emergency response planning confidently.
