Job Summary

Heartland Homes of Florida is seeking a Construction / Warranty Admin Support Specialist to assist in all aspects of construction and post-construction services ensuring an exceptional homeowner experience. This role is ideal for someone organized, customer-focused, and experienced in residential construction or property service coordination.

Responsibilities

  • To secure and maintain the established volume of purchase orders & warranty purchase orders.
  • Keep suppliers and sub-contractors informed of changes to plans, finish schedules and change orders.
  • Maintain accurate records related to previous pricing contracts issued and cost trends related to the same.
  • Meet and discuss field related issues and concerns with Superintendents and Project Managers relating to performance conditions and workloads related to sub-contractors and suppliers.
  • Review Additional Work Authorizations for accuracy, determine needs for changes to specification and scope.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners regarding timelines and expectations.
  • Conduct Closing and Warranty Walkthroughs and assist with scheduled follow ups.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowner warranty requests
  • Receive, log, and track warranty claims from submission through completion

Qualifications

  • Experience in residential construction, warranty, or property management preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); construction software experience a plus
  • Knowledge of common building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, structural) and terminology is helpful
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 – $25.00 per hour
