About the Role:
As a Conveyancing Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the running and progression of Conveyancing transactions. Your duties will include:
Handling incoming calls and communications, responding to client queries promptly, with support from colleagues where needed.
Preparing, receiving, and verifying new client care packs electronically, working closely with Solicitors and Fee Earners to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Verifying the identification and source of funds for all new clients.
Conducting Title Checks under the guidance of a Fee Earner.
Drafting and issuing Contract Packs.
Obtaining redemption statements.
Addressing pre-contact enquiries on sale files, working under the direct supervision of a Fee Earner.
Preparing pre-completion paperwork, including invoices and Statements of Accounts.
Keeping our case management system up to date with accurate information on the status of matters.
Completing tasks assigned by Fee Earners or team members to ensure efficient and timely service delivery to clients.
Building strong relationships with third-party stakeholders by offering excellent customer service.
Undertaking ongoing training and
professional development
under the direction of our Compliance Director and Legal Operations Director.
About You:
We are looking for a motivated, professional, and
team-oriented
individual to join our friendly Conveyancing team. To succeed in this role, you should demonstrate:
A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and developing
your skills
in residential conveyancing.
A strong interest in property law and a willingness to adapt quickly to the demands of the role.
While prior experience in conveyancing is an advantage, we are also keen to hear from candidates without experience who are eager to build a career in the field.
The ability to work well within a team, with excellent
communication skills
and a client-focused approach.
A keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
