Company Overview
Vanzbon Group is an international business services provider offering one-stop solutions for companies expanding overseas. Our services include company incorporation, bank account opening, tax and accounting compliance, legal support, HR services, and local delivery support.
Due to the development of our Malaysia business, we are looking for a professional with company secretarial experience and relevant qualifications in Malaysia to support our clients with company incorporation and ongoing corporate compliance matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Malaysia company incorporation, appointment of company secretary, shareholder and director registration, and related corporate matters.
- Handle or support SSM filings, company record maintenance, annual returns, board resolutions, shareholders’ resolutions, constitution documents, and other statutory documents.
- Follow up on ongoing compliance matters after company incorporation, including registered address, company secretarial services, annual compliance reminders, and company information changes.
- Coordinate with local accountants, lawyers, banks, government departments, and other professional service providers when required.
- Provide internal support on Malaysia company compliance, company secretarial requirements, incorporation procedures, required documents, and estimated timelines.
- Prepare document checklists, process summaries, fee explanations, and project progress updates for clients and internal teams.
- Monitor updates related to Malaysian company law and SSM requirements, and share important compliance information with the team in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Familiar with Malaysia company secretarial practices, with experience in Sdn. Bhd. incorporation, company changes, annual returns, and related compliance matters.
- Candidates with relevant Malaysia company secretary qualifications are preferred, such as SSM Licensed Company Secretary / Practising Certificate, MAICSA, MIA, or other recognized qualifications.
- Familiar with the Companies Act 2016, SSM procedures, and Malaysia corporate compliance requirements.
- Good English communication and document-handling skills; Mandarin Chinese ability is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to independently follow up on client requirements and project progress.
- Experience supporting foreign-invested companies, Chinese clients, or cross-border corporate service projects is preferred.
- Able to work remotely and communicate efficiently through email, WhatsApp, and online meetings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Local resources with law firms, accounting firms, banks, or government-related filing channels.
- Familiarity with Malaysia bank account opening, tax registration, employment compliance, EP/visa matters, or related procedures.
- Experience working in a corporate service provider, consulting firm, accounting firm, or law firm.
- Ability to prepare English compliance explanations, process notes, or client communication materials independently.
