Job Responsibilities:
- Assist employees with SAP navigation, SAP-related queries, issue troubleshooting, basic system navigation guidance and functionality questions.
- Support business users in understanding budget control, cost allocation structures, WBS setup, and project cost reporting concepts within SAP.
- Support in maintaining master data integrity and compliance by advising users on correct SAP usage and identifying potential data or process issues (without performing transactional entries).
- Liaise closely with IT teams and SAP Technical / Functional Consultants for system issues, enhancements, and change requests.
- Able to resolve minor technical issues or escalate complex problems to IT teams and SAP Technical / Functional Consultants.
- Participate in testing, validation, and user support activities related to SAP changes or upgrades when required.
- Generate and extract SAP data for analysis and reporting as requested by departments.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with company data standards.
- Conduct basic SAP user training and knowledge-sharing sessions, including guidance on standard operating procedures and system best practices for new users and refresher sessions for existing users.
- Develop and maintain user guides and FAQs for common SAP tasks.
- Monitor user access and report anomalies to IT team.
- Track and document user issues for continuous improvements and upgrades.
- Assist on new implementation/improvement for SAP to enhance project reporting.
- Maintain the Cost Control WBS structure with Budget Allocations in SAP.
- Maintain the Approved Commitment records in SAP.
- Ensure optimal performance of cost report, dashboards and financial extracts.
- Guide and support employees in understanding and correctly performing key inventory and service transactions (e.g. Goods Receipt, Goods Issue, Service Entry Sheet) in SAP, without executing transactions on their behalf.
- Coordinate with users to monitor readiness and completeness of PO/WO/RO and Goods/Service Receipts in SAP, ensuring data accuracy and timely processing by responsible functions.
Job Requirement:
- Minimum 2-3 years working with SAP systems in a support or technical role.
- Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Intermediate level of SAP Basis or HANA system (PS, MM, preferred).
- Fluent in written and spoken English language.
- High computer literacy, specifically Microsoft Excel and SAP reporting tools.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to train and guide non-technical users.
- Demonstrated effectiveness in prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Strong coordination skills with Cost Control, Finance, SCM, HR, Project Management and other stakeholders.
