Role Description The Customer Service Agent role is a full-time, on-site position based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The person in this role will handle daily customer inquiries via phone, email, and digital channels, providing accurate information on shipments, schedules, and logistics solutions. Responsibilities include resolving issues, coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely service delivery, and maintaining up-to-date records in customer service and logistics systems. The Customer Service Agent will monitor service performance, follow up on customer requests, and proactively communicate to ensure a positive customer experience. This role also involves identifying opportunities to improve processes, supporting customer retention, and aligning service interactions with Maersk’s standards and policies.
Qualifications
- Ability to deliver high-quality Customer Service and maintain strong Customer Satisfaction.
- Experience in Customer Support and managing Customer Service Representatives or similar roles.
- Skills in enhancing Customer Experience and understanding customer needs in a logistics or service environment.
- Strong communication skills in English; additional local language skills are an advantage.
- Problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work with data and systems (CRM or customer service platforms).
- Ability to work on-site in Phnom Penh, collaborate with diverse teams, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in logistics, shipping, or related industries is beneficial.
- Relevant education in business, logistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
