Role Description The Data Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Kota Salatiga. This position is responsible for collecting, cleaning, and organizing sales, inventory, and customer data from store operations and systems. The Data Analyst will analyze data to identify trends, support pricing and inventory decisions, and provide insights that improve customer service, store performance, and operational efficiency. Daily tasks include building reports and dashboards, preparing regular performance summaries for management, and collaborating with store and head office teams to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven recommendations. The role also involves maintaining data accuracy, documenting methodologies, and supporting ad hoc analysis requests for strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analytics to interpret retail and operational data.
- Solid understanding of statistics for reporting, forecasting, and performance measurement.
- Experience with data modeling to structure data for analysis and reporting.
- Effective communication skills to explain findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency with spreadsheet tools and business intelligence or data visualization software (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
- Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
- Experience in retail or wholesale environments and familiarity with sales and inventory data are advantageous.
