Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5PM
Pay Range: $16 – $18 per hour
About the Role: Sports South is the nation’s largest and oldest wholesale distributor of firearms and ammunition. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented person to join our team from now until October 23rd to assist with data entry related to NFA paperwork.
This is a straightforward, repetitive, data-entry position. You will be provided with completed paperwork and will enter the information from those forms into the ATF’s electronic system. The work requires accuracy, consistency, and the ability to stay focused while performing the same type of task throughout the day.
Though industry knowledge or an understanding of the process would be a plus, no prior experience is required. We will train the right person.
This would be a great opportunity for someone looking to earn some extra money over the next month or so and who is comfortable working independently in a quiet, structured environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Enter information from completed forms into the ATF’s electronic system
- Carefully review information while entering data to ensure accuracy
- Follow established procedures and instructions
- Maintain consistent attention to detail throughout the workday
- Work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
- Ask questions when clarification is needed
- Maintain the confidentiality and security of sensitive paperwork and information
You should be comfortable using a computer and entering information accurately. Previous experience with data entry, administrative work, document processing, or similar work is helpful but not required.
