We are seeking a passionate Data Protection Officer (DPO) to help establish a world-class privacy and data governance program.
What You'll Do
– Lead BaoMind's privacy and data protection programme.
– Ensure compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) and global privacy standards.
– Develop and maintain privacy policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
– Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
– Advise on AI governance, data ethics, and Privacy by Design.
– Support incident response, vendor risk assessments, and regulatory compliance.
Preferred Knowledge
– Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA 2023)
– GDPR Fundamentals
– NIST Privacy Framework
– Privacy by Design
– Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA)
– AI Governance & Responsible AI
– Healthcare Privacy
– ISO/IEC 27701
– Vendor Risk Management
– Data Breach & Incident Response
Relevant certifications are an advantage but not mandatory. We value practical knowledge, continuous learning, and a commitment to building trusted AI.
