Dental Assistant Job in Sharjah, UAE Â We are looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to join our practice in Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing chair-side assistance and other related duties as assigned. Responsibilities:
Provide chair-side assistance to dentists, including setting up instruments and materials, handing instruments as requested, and suctioning. Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping all surfaces clean and orderly. Prepare impression materials and other dental materials as instructed by the dentist. Take X-rays as requested by the dentist following the correct techniques. Ensure that all dental instruments are properly sterilized and disinfected according to accepted infection control procedures.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the dentist or Practice Manager.
Qualifications:
A minimum of one year experience working in a dental practice is preferred but we are ready to consider an immigrant with relevant qualifications, such as a Dental Assistant Certificate or Diploma from an accredited school. Excellent
communication skills
both written and verbal in English is essential. Knowledge of Arabic would be beneficial but not a requirement for this role. Ability to work effectively in a
fast-paced environment
while maintaining accuracy and
attention to detail
is essential in this role.
Knowledge of basic dental terminology is preferred but not mandatory. Â Compensation: Â This position offers a
