We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. Responsibilities:
– Greet patients and assist with check-in procedures, including updating patient information.
– Manage patient schedules, including coordinating appointments and ensuring timely arrival for treatments.
– Perform various administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls, taking messages, and handling patient inquiries.
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to dental office policies and HIPAA guidelines.
– Assist with insurance claims, including verifying patient coverage and submitting claims to payors.
– Provide a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for patients, addressing any concerns they may have.
– Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless communication and a high level of patient satisfaction.
Experience:
– Previous experience working in a dental office is highly desirable.
– Proficiency with dental office systems is essential, especially Open Dental
– Knowledge of medical terminology and dental terminology is required.
– A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate’s degree in a healthcare-related field is preferred.
Skills:
– Experience working in a dental office.
– Proficiency with medical office software and dental office systems.
– Knowledge of insurance providers.
– Ability to work effectively in an office setting and provide excellent patient care.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour
