Position Summary
The Director of Administration will lead our human resources and administrative operations, with a strong focus on employee experience, policy development, benefits, and supporting financial processes. This position is part of our leadership team and plays a vital role in shaping internal operations and sustaining our values-driven culture.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources (Primary Focus):
Lead HR strategy in support of a growing, multi-state organization
Maintain and update employee handbooks and HR policies
Oversee employee benefits administration and vendor coordination
Support recruiting, onboarding, and employee development
Promote and maintain a strong, healthy workplace culture
Administrative & Financial Support:
Collaborate with the leadership team to support financial operations
Utilize QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar tools for administrative tasks
Oversee payroll coordination, vendor management, and expense tracking
Ensure compliance with insurance, licensing, and regulatory requirements
Team Leadership:
Manage and mentor a small internal team, including administrative and warehouse support staff
Foster communication, alignment, and trust within and across departments
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
SHRM-CP or similar certification is a plus
Experience in Administrative experience leadership roles
Strong familiarity with HR compliance, benefits, and multi-state employment practices
Experience with financial tools such as QuickBooks or Microsoft Dynamics
Proven ability to manage people, processes, and priorities effectively
