Director of Wholesale Operations

Foster, a leading organization in the energy sector, is seeking a results-driven Director of Wholesale Operations to oversee and optimize commercial fuel distribution, customer relationships, and overall operational efficiency. This role is responsible for ensuring a positive and structured work environment, driving profitability, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and service.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage daily operational functions related to product delivery, administration, and customer support.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive long-term business growth.
Supervise supply chain and scheduling to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
Monitor financial performance, oversee budgeting, and implement strategies to enhance profitability.
Ensure adherence to industry safety regulations and provide training on best practices.
Lead and support a team by offering guidance, training, and performance management.
Oversee pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and maintenance of equipment at company-managed and customer locations.
Manage sales in developing and working with team to identify and pursue new business opportunities, including bulk product sales and specialized service offerings.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of leadership experience in operations, supply chain, product distribution.
Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and drive strategic initiatives.
