Summary of Work

The Document Processing Specialist provides a means for WSI’s internal customers to view all incoming and internally generated documentation for the Claims and Policy files in an electronic manner.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Sorting through all incoming mail

Prepare mail for the electronic imaging process

Verify claim numbers on all documentation

Sort documents

Scan batches

Index documents

Prepare indexed documents for storage

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a high school diploma or GED

Two years of clerical work experience including the use of a personal computer or workstation software for document preparation and processing

At least one year of work experience is required in document imaging of medical/legal records

One year of college with major coursework in records management may substitute for one year of work experience
