As a Driver for PT Japfa Food Indonesia, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods and personnel, ensuring efficient logistics operations.
Job Responsibilities:**
- Safely operate company vehicles (e.g., trucks, vans, cars) to transport goods, materials, or personnel to designated locations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company safety policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition and report any defects or maintenance needs promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents encountered.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods as required, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatchers, and recipients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Keep the company vehicle clean and well-maintained.
- Follow specific delivery instructions and obtain necessary signatures or documentation.
- Represent PT Japfa Food Indonesia professionally at all times.
Job Qualifications:**
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a logistics or transportation role.
- Knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns.
- Ability to operate various types of vehicles safely.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy objects if required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
