QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Diploma (D1) in Hospitality or a related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Duty Manager, Supervisor, or equivalent position in a hotel.
- Experienced in handling room reservations, including booking, confirmation, amendment, cancellation, room availability, and special requests.
- Good understanding of room reservation, availability, room assignment, check-in, and check-out procedures.
- Proficient in using VHP or other Hotel Property Management / Reservation Systems.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, polite, professional, and service-oriented attitude.
- Active English proficiency, both verbal and written; additional foreign languages are an advantage.
- Able to handle guest complaints and requests promptly, accurately, and professionally.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Well-groomed, confident, and passionate about hospitality and guest service.
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Experience in a boutique, luxury, or heritage hotel is an advantage.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the daily operations of House of Tugu Jakarta run smoothly in accordance with hotel standards and SOPs.
- Handle and monitor room reservations, including bookings, confirmations, amendments, cancellations, room availability, and special requests.
- Ensure reservation details and guests’ special requirements are properly communicated to the relevant departments.
- Coordinate effectively with Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Security, and other departments.
- Act as the Person in Charge (PIC) during the assigned shift and serve as the main point of contact between guests and hotel teams.
- Handle guest complaints, requests, and special arrangements promptly and professionally.
- Conduct regular inspections of hotel areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, comfort, and operational readiness.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with hotel SOPs and service standards.
- Make quick and appropriate decisions when handling operational issues and guest-related matters.
- Ensure a clear and effective shift handover to the following team.
- Prepare and submit shift reports, incident reports, and operational reports to management.
- Ensure every guest receives personalized service and a memorable experience in line with the standards and character of House of Tugu Jakarta.
