Title: Estate Planning & Client Operations Assistant

Company: August Law Firm PLLC

Location: Owasso, OK

Time and Money Committment

Part-time to start | $22/hour

The Person We Seek

We are not looking for someone to simply “help out around the office.” We are looking for someone who can own a lane, keep files moving, communicate clearly with clients, and quietly make the system better.

Some people are energized by bringing order to work that matters. They notice what is missing. They follow up before a file goes stale. They save documents where they can actually be found later. They make a prosess cleaner, faster, and more reliable simply by being in it.

We are hiring to help move client matters from intake to completion with clarity, accuracy, and momentum. This role includes client comunication, document handling, scheduling, file organization, draft support, signing preparation, and post-signing follow-through.

This is not a front-desk placeholder role. This is a make-the-practice-run-better role.

You may be a fit if you can take ownership of routine workflow without constant supervision, while still knowing when to involve the owner for legal judgment, strategy, or final review. You should be able to spot inefficiency, think practically, and improve the way work gets done instead of just repeating a clunky process because “that is how it has always been done.”

The Person You Are

You will have access to the owner. You will not be left alone to guess at legal decisions. But the day-to-day movement of files should not stall because someone has to tell you every next step.

In a normal week, you may send intake forms, follow up for missing information, organize and save documents correctly, help prepare drafts from templates, assemble signing packets and final books, schedule appointments, track post-signing tasks, and help keep files from lingering.

You should be comfortable with Google Workspace, PDFs, email, scanners, copiers, and digital file organization. Prior law office or document-heavy professional experience is preferred, but not required if you are highly capuble and learn quickly.

If You Still Think This is You

Send your resume and/or a video explaining why this role fits you.

Also answer these three questions:

1. A signing is tomorrow, and you open the file and spot three problems. What do you do first?

2. How many spelling errors are in this post?

3. What is one small, ridiculous thing that reliably makes you laugh or brightens your day?

We like people who take their work seriously, but not themselves.
