Executive Assistant, AWS Solutions, User Experience Amazon is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support the Vice President of User Experience (UX) in AWS Solutions and the broader User Experience org. We are a global organization building software to transform industries and make the world a better place. We are looking for a
multitasking
and self-motivated individual to be a key member of the business
leadership
team.
This role requires superior
attention to detail
, the ability to organize and prioritize critical deliverables in a
fast-paced
and changing environment, and the ability to juggle multiple competing requests. The right candidate for this role will possess strong written and verbal
communication skills
and be customer obsessed. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information is critical for success in this role, as is a good sense of humor.
We like to have fun! A successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with little to no guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, be creative in finding solutions, and take effective action without having to know the total picture. This EA will be part of a growing team of 30+ executive assistants, working to support the broader AWS Solutions org as a team, and will serve as site lead EA for our Sunnyvale office of ~110 employees.
Key job responsibilities Managing complex calendars and scheduling with global teams Interacting clearly and proactively with senior executives Tracking and helping in driving completion of key deliverables and following up on outstanding items Organizing, executing, and assisting with team activities (staff meetings, all-hands meetings, off-sites, and team social events) Working closely with the
leadership
team, partner teams, and other Executive Assistants to provide support to the organization Occasional travel for off-sites or trainings Managing domestic and international travel Driving a
collaborative
and engaging organizational culture A day in the life Every day is different, but a typical day will involve managing a high volume of email, working with other Executive Assistants to schedule complex meetings, and partnering closely with executives and their business partners on projects and initiatives.

The AWS Solutions User Experience team is a new team bringing together our UX design and research teams into one unified org supporting this mission across all our products and offerings.
