Job Summary
Provides tactical and operational support to ensure system readiness, technical coordination, real-time field assistance, and secure handling of intelligence tools and platforms. Ensures platforms are user-ready, secure, and effectively support Investigation Officers (I0s) and enforcement missions.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily operations and technical readiness of the War Room, including dashboard setup, data feeds, and visual coordination tools.
- Support Dark Web Lab activities by managing secured browser access, session logs, and assisting covert monitoring tasks under supervision.
- Provide hands-on assistance in suspect tracking activities, including live location data management, dashboard visualizations, and tracking tool usage.
- Coordinate with MNOs and enforcement teams during tracking operations by preparing and relaying intelligence under authorized protocols.
- Support the maintenance and deployment of the secure enforcement network and related infrastructure assets, both at HQ and remote locations.
- Manage cross-unit user access provisioning, enforce cybersecurity policies, and assist with audit trails and compliance tasks.
- Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and simulations across platforms prior to enforcement operations.
- Liaise between IOs, vendors, MNOs and support engineers to escalate issues, provide field intel, or relay real-time operational feedback.
- Assist in preparing technical documentation, activity logs, user briefings, and mission debrief across all units.
- Provide logistical, technical, and coordination support during enforcement activations involving multiple IID platforms.
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
- Minimum 1 year working experience in regulatory and/or information and cybersecurity domain
- Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Possess good writing and communications skills in English and Malay
- Self-initiated programmes to improve departmental operational efficiency
