We are seeking an exceptional Papua New Guinean to join Kina Bank as Executive Manager, CEO’s Office.

This is a unique opportunity to serve as a trusted partner to the CEO & Managing Director, leading the high-performing administrative and operational support that enables both the CEO and Chief of Staff to operate at maximum effectiveness.

This role goes beyond traditional executive support. It requires someone who can create structure, improve processes, coordinate cross-functional execution, and help translate strategic priorities into action. The successful candidate will combine outstanding organisational capability with sound judgement, professionalism, discretion, and a strong sense of ownership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The core functions of the position are as follows but not limited to:

Executive Support & Coordination

  • Manage the CEO’s schedule, correspondence, priorities, briefing materials, presentations, and follow-up actions to support effective decision-making and time management.
  • Anticipate priorities and ensure the CEO is appropriately briefed and prepared for key engagements.

CEO Office Administration

  • Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the CEO’s Office through effective records management, confidential document handling, reporting support, and administrative coordination.
  • Build and maintain systems and processes that enhance the effectiveness of the CEO’s Office.

Meetings, Travel & Logistics Management

  • Coordinate executive meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, track action items, and manage domestic and international travel arrangements.
  • Ensure seamless execution of executive commitments and timely follow-through on agreed actions.

Stakeholder & Event Management

  • Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate executive visits, leadership meetings, corporate events, and employee engagement activities while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and representation of the Bank.

Confidentiality, Governance & Compliance

  • Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
  • Ensure compliance with Bank policies, governance requirements, and regulatory obligations.

ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE

To be successful in this role, candidates should demonstrate:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Commerce, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certification or training in Executive Administration, Office Management, Project Management, or a related field will be highly regarded.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience providing high-level support to senior executives, executive leadership teams, or C-suite leaders.
  • Proven ability to manage complex schedules, competing priorities, travel arrangements, and stakeholder relationships in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing executive correspondence, reports, presentations, and board or meeting materials.
  • A proactive, self-starting approach with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, exercise sound judgement, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Experience within banking, financial services, professional services, or other highly regulated industries will be advantageous.
  • Proficiency in digital collaboration, productivity, and document management systems.
  • A genuine interest in the financial services industry and the future growth of Kina Bank.
