Responsibilities:
- Provide 24/7 monitoring of the trading ecosystem, focusing on pre-trade platforms, trading tools, and market data services
- Monitor system health, performance metrics, and connectivity across trading applications and supporting infrastructure
- Detect and respond immediately to trading-critical incidents, including order execution failures, market data feed disruptions, position calculation discrepancies, and application performance degradation
- Execute incident response procedures with sub-minute detection and response targets for revenue-impacting issues
- Perform initial triage and troubleshooting to determine root cause and severity of incidents
- Escalate incidents to appropriate technical teams, vendors, or infrastructure support groups when required
- Maintain operational dashboards, monitoring alerts, and log analysis tools for proactive issue detection
- Document incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in support systems
Incident Management & Resolution
- Respond to real-time operational alerts and system failures impacting trading activities
- Investigate and resolve operational issues related to trading systems, market data feeds, and supporting applications
- Coordinate with infrastructure, development teams, and vendors to resolve production incidents quickly
- Support root cause analysis (RCA) and participate in post-incident reviews
- Maintain incident records and contribute to knowledge base documentation
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce incident recurrence
- Ensure incident handling aligns with defined service level agreements (SLA) and operational procedures.
Pre-Trade System Maintenance & Updates
- Execute system patches, hotfixes, and emergency updates for pre-trade platforms during designated market closure windows
- Follow controlled deployment procedures including change approvals and operational runbooks
- Perform regression testing and system validation after system updates or configuration changes
- Implement rollback procedures when system updates impact trading stability
- Coordinate deployment activities with internal delivery teams and external technology vendors
- Validate system readiness prior to market opening after maintenance activities
- Support security patching and system hardening initiatives for trading applications
Technical Support for Trading & Business Users
- Provide technical support for front-office traders, TAA, middle-office risk managers, back-office operations, and ArBiTra enablement teams
- Assist users with trading screen configurations, user access management, system navigation, and operational workflows
- Support urgent service requests during trading hours with priority handling for business-critical issues
- Assist users with report generation, data retrieval, and troubleshooting operational discrepancies
- Provide guidance on system usage, operational procedures, and troubleshooting steps
- Ensure trading teams experience minimal disruption to trading activities during operational issues
- Maintain strong collaboration with business stakeholders to understand operational requirements
System Configuration & User Administration
- Manage user access provisioning and role-based permissions for trading platforms
- Configure trading screens, dashboards, and user-specific system settings
- Maintain system configuration documentation and operational procedures
- Validate configuration changes to ensure they do not impact trading workflows
- Support audit requirements related to system access and operational controls
Operational Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Maintain operational runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and standard operating procedures
- Document recurring issues, solutions, and operational best practices
- Contribute to knowledge sharing within the support team
- Ensure operational documentation is updated following system changes or incidents
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related technical field
- 3–6 years of experience in application support, production support, or trading system operations
- Experience supporting mission-critical systems in high-availability environments
- Experience working in financial services, trading environments, or capital markets technology preferred
