Key Responsibilities
Finance:
Prepare monthly financial statements, including profit & loss, balance sheets, AR/AP aging, and cash flow reports
Complete month-end financial processes efficiently and provide analysis on financial reports.
Prepare and file sales tax and other relevant tax filings, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Oversee timely payment of invoices and reconcile bank statements to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Process and manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions for multiple entities.
Human Resources:
Assist with recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes, including job postings, offer letters, and new hire documentation.
Maintain accurate employee records
Oversee benefits enrollment and insurance paperwork
Process payroll, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, wage calculations, and reporting.
Support employee relations efforts, including engagement activities and performance management.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
Manage safety reporting, documenting incidents and assisting with workers’ compensation claims.
Administrative & Operations Support:
Coordinate strategy meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and maintaining company goals and objectives.
Maintain company licenses, ensuring timely renewals and organized documentation.
Provide basic IT support, troubleshooting technical issues, managing user accounts, and training employees on technology tools.
Oversee operations related to rental program management, including processing deposits, reconciling accounts, and handling tax filings.
Insurance Administration:
Assist with insurance policy management, renewals, claims processing, and compliance with audits.
Prepare and issue insurance documents and liaise with providers.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, HR, or a related field
1–3 years of experience in a finance, accounting, or HR support role
Proficient in Excel, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Discreet and professional when handling sensitive information
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
