Location: New York

Our client is a non-profit organization. They seek a Financial Operations Coordinator to join their Manhattan, NY office.

Responsibilities

Track and update the tuition systems, including payments and billing reconciliations

Process vendor invoices including consolidated bills and record the summary transactions

Input all operating deposits as journal entries and attach documentation

Code credit card transactions in WORKS and upload supporting documentation

Monitor timecards, assess daily alerts, and address any timecard and payroll issues

Run reports to ensure any issues have been cleared, including unassigned, substitutes, etc.

Work with the RH team to ensure paperwork is processed for all unassigned rates

Prepare reports to monitor substitutes and prepare Timecard Pay Adjustment

Assess labor distributions on all timecards and then lock all timecards before transferring

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting

Previous accounting/finance experience

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Detail-oriented, organized, and analytical

Able to work in a team environment

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Experience with Financial Edge NXT and Excel
