starting annual salary of $51,000;

POSITION PROFILE:
The Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office (SCDAO) seeks a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented individual dedicated to public service, committed to justice and fairness, and interested in criminal justice reform to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office. This is an operational role within the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office (SCDAO) that primarily focuses on coordinating the day-to-day administrative responsibilities for the office’s fleet of vehicles as well as coordinating and supporting travel requests.
A successful candidate will have the ability to work with multiple disciplines across SCDAO, including Assistant District Attorneys, Victim Witness Advocates, Civilian Investigators, and Administrative Staff in a fast-moving environment, and possess excellent oral and written
communication skills
.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Coordinate all fleet needs as they arise such as: notifying and following up on required preventative maintenance, booking rental vehicles, and other items as needed.
Coordinate parking garage passes for SCDAO employees and visitors while maintaining relationship with garage management.
Work with SCDAO Narcotics and Asset Forfeiture Unit and local police departments regarding defendant forfeited property, including, but not limited to, inspection, towing, sale/auction, and dividing sale proceeds of said property.
Coordinate all SCDAO travel support as needed which includes, but is not limited to, booking transportation and accommodations for witnesses, victims, experts, and employees.
Update the Cloud Program to ensure that all fleet and travel data is accurate and up to date, which includes, but is not limited to:
Vehicle transfers and current driver updates
Maintain Case Expenditure Forms authorizing witness, victim, and experts’ travel
Fleet status (operational, non-operational, available)
Maintain driver/vehicle log records
Maintain files and folders, in accordance with office records retention policies
Coordinate (add/delete) employees and vehicles as they on-board or off-board with the office.
Responsible for internal annual vehicle inspections.
Create reports related to the costs of office vehicle, fleet management costs, and travel as needed.
Assist with vehicle purchases and replacements.
Ensure compliance with Massachusetts and Federal DOT regulations.
Maintain program integrity by following policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Attend required training and other trainings relevant to SCDAO functions.
Become familiar with and follow the provisions of SCDAO Personnel Policies, particularly with regard to confidentiality, sexual harassment, drug-free workplace, and the usage of information technology resources.
Exerciserespectfuland professional behavior andcommunicationwith the public, judicial, and law enforcement personnel and office staff.
Complete work assignments in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner.
Perform other duties as assigned.
