About Job:
The Academic Playzone is a warm, family-oriented preschool dedicated to nurturing children through play-based learning, love, and quality care. We’re looking for a dependable, friendly, and flexible team player to join us as a Floater who supports both our classrooms and front office. Jobs Hours will be: 10:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Monday–Friday)
Job Responsibilities:
Assist teachers in various classrooms as needed (Infants to Pre-K)
Help with classroom supervision, diaper changes, meals, and transitions
Step in to cover teacher breaks or absences
Support front desk and administrative tasks, such as answering phones, organizing files, and greeting parents
Help maintain a clean, safe, and positive learning environment
Prepare classroom materials or activity setups when needed
Be available for miscellaneous support such as kitchen help or light cleaning
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience working in a childcare or school setting preferred
Flexible and willing to assist wherever needed
Friendly, reliable, and professional demeanor
Must pass background check and meet Texas Minimum Standards
