About Us
We are a licensed Third-Party Administrator (TPA) specializing in benefits administration, providing exceptional service to large employers. We’re looking for an experienced FMLA/Leave Administrator to join our team and manage the day-to-day operations of various leave programs.
Position Overview
The FMLA/Leave Administrator is responsible for handling the administration of Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), state-mandated leaves, and employer-specific leave policies. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple employer programs efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Process and manage FMLA and other leave requests for multiple large employer clients.
Ensure timely distribution, collection, and processing of leave-related forms.
Verify employee eligibility and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
Communicate leave details with HR departments and employees, providing exceptional support.
Research and resolve inquiries regarding leave qualifications, policies, and status updates.
Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports from internal systems.
Stay up to date on federal and state regulations related to leave programs.
Actively participate as a user in our contact center, handling live calls, chats, emails, and callback requests.
Manage customer interactions throughout the day, ensuring prompt and professional responses.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in employee benefits or third-party administration, specifically FMLA/leave management. Experience with a carrier, TPA, or large employer HR department is preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of FMLA, ADA, COBRA, Section 125, workers’ compensation, Medicare, ERISA, Social Security, and DOL regulations.
Project & Time Management: Ability to manage multiple complex projects, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a team environment.
Communication & Organization: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong organizational abilities.
Bilingual (Spanish) Preferred.
Certification & Licensing: Must be able to pass any required certification/licensing exams.
Work Environment & Remote Option
This position is fully remote.
Remote employees must have a quiet home office setup with reliable internet access.
All necessary equipment (computer, monitors, headset, etc.) will be provided.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 – $26.00 per hour
