Job Summary

The Football Recruiting Assistant will provide administrative and operational support for the University of Kentucky football program. The role involves maintaining prospect information in recruiting databases, ensuring accurate rankings, academic records, and eligibility documentation. The assistant will coordinate and execute official and unofficial campus visits, managing logistics such as itineraries, tour schedules, and travel credentials. In addition, the recruiting assistant will collaborate closely with coaching staff to deliver an elite, compliant, and highly organized recruiting experience for prospects.

The position requires strict adherence to all UK, SEC, and NCAA rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update recruiting databases and technology platforms with prospect rankings, academic records, and eligibility documents.
  • Coordinate official and unofficial campus visits, including itinerary development, scheduling tours, and managing travel and credentials.
  • Collaborate with coaching staff to provide a compliant, organized recruiting experience.
  • Assist with compliance and documentation to ensure adherence to UK, SEC, and NCAA regulations.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience in recruiting or athlete development.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull objects up to 10 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with recruiting databases and technology platforms.
  • Verification of eligibility to comply with UK, SEC, and NCAA rules.
