Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Front Desk Agent / Night Auditor to join our team at Spark by Hilton in Harrisonburg. As the face of the hotel, you will create a welcoming experience for our guests while ensuring smooth daily operations. This role combines exceptional guest service with administrative responsibilities, including overnight auditing and front desk support.

Responsibilities
- Greet and check in guests with a warm, professional attitude
- Handle guest requests, concerns, and questions promptly and effectively
- Answer phones and assist with reservations and inquiries
- Process check-outs and ensure accurate billing
- Perform nightly audit procedures, including balancing reports and closing out the day (night audit shifts)
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all guest information is entered correctly into the system
- Monitor hotel security and ensure a safe environment during overnight hours
- Assist with light housekeeping or breakfast setup as needed during overnight shifts
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby area
Qualifications
- Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred (but not required)
- Strong communication and guest service skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working independently, especially during overnight shifts
- Basic computer skills (experience with hotel systems like Hilton PEP is a plus)
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts as needed
- Bilingual is a plus

Pay: $14.00 – $15.00 per hour
