Front Desk Representative
Location: Morrisons Rogue Wilderness Adventures & Lodge – Southern Oregon Job Type: Seasonal (June– October)

About the Position
We are seeking professional, motivated, and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Front Desk Representatives for the 2025 season. This seasonal position runs from June through October 31.
The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills (in person, on the phone, and in writing), strong organizational abilities, time management skills, and a guest-first mindset. Leadership qualities and prior front desk or hospitality experience are highly valued.
Training
Comprehensive on-the-job training is provided and tailored to individual learning pace. Training will include:
Reservation and scheduling software
Guest interactions and communication
Sales techniques and service procedures
Opening and closing front desk operations
Initial training will include morning shifts (starting at 6:30 AM to 2PM) for the first few weeks, followed by training on the closing shifts (2:00 PM–10:30 PM).
Key Responsibilities
Handle reservations for lodging, dining, rafting trips, and shuttle services via phone, email, and in-person.
Answer incoming calls and general inquiries about our offerings and local attractions.
Provide professional and friendly guest service during check-ins/check-outs and throughout guest stays.
Ensure smooth front desk operations during assigned shifts.
Assist with retail sales, including cash drawer management and end-of-day reconciliation.
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, restocking supplies as needed.
Process payments and accurately manage booking records.
Support managers and other office staff with administrative tasks.
Review reservation details for accuracy and update forms and documents as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum 2 years of sales experience.
Minimum 1 year of hotel/lodging experience.
At least 1 year in a supervisory role preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Professional appearance and excellent personal hygiene.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs, and general computer skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Valid driver’s license required.
Experience with rafting or lodging reservation systems is a plus.
