About Golf V.2 / Golfopia
Golf V.2 is an indoor golf and training facility offering golfers a place to practice, play, train, and improve their game. Golfopia is our golf retail business, offering quality golf apparel, equipment, accessories, and products from leading golf brands.
We are looking for a friendly, knowledgeable, and dependable Front Desk & Pro Shop Associate to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys golf and is comfortable helping customers both in a retail environment and at an indoor golf facility.
Golf Knowledge Is Required
Applicants must have a strong understanding of golf, including basic knowledge of golf equipment, apparel, accessories, terminology, and the game itself. You don’t need to be a PGA professional, but you should be comfortable talking with golfers and helping customers select products based on their needs.
Responsibilities
Front Desk
- Welcome and check in members, guests, and customers
- Answer phones, emails, and customer questions
- Schedule and manage simulator reservations
- Process payments and assist with memberships
- Explain facility rules, simulator use, and available services
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area
- Assist with daily opening and closing procedures
- Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming experience for golfers
Pro Shop / Retail
- Assist customers with golf apparel, equipment, accessories, and merchandise
- Use golf knowledge to make product recommendations
- Operate the POS system and process sales
- Maintain organized and visually appealing merchandise displays
- Receive, unpack, price, and organize inventory
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs
- Assist with online orders and Golfopia.com when needed
- Help with promotions, sales, and special events
- Keep the pro shop clean, organized, and fully stocked
General
- Create a positive and energetic environment for golfers of all skill levels
- Build relationships with customers and members
- Assist with golf events, clinics, tournaments, and special promotions
- Support other team members with daily facility operations
- Represent Golf V.2 and Golfopia in a professional manner
Qualifications
Required:
- Strong knowledge of golf and golf terminology
- Genuine interest in and enthusiasm for the game of golf
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Friendly, outgoing, and professional personality
- Reliable and dependable
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Preferred:
- Retail or customer service experience
- Experience working at a golf course, pro shop, driving range, simulator facility, or sporting goods store
- Knowledge of golf equipment and major golf brands
- Experience with simulator technology
- Previous sales experience
