Shortee’s Automotive is seeking a sharp, motivated, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk Coordinator. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with people. You’ll be the first point of contact for our customers and play a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations and a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist walk-in customers in a professional and friendly manner.

Answer multiple phone lines and manage customer inquiries efficiently.

Schedule service appointments and obtain vehicle/client information in advance when possible.

Accurately document vehicle concerns on repair orders (RO) and ensure customer signatures.

Provide clear and complete cost estimates for labor and parts.

Maintain ongoing communication with customers about repair status, changes, and authorizations.

Order parts from dealers and vendors, and handle parts deliveries, returns, and eBay listings.

Collaborate with technicians to review repairs and recommendations.

Monitor vehicle diagnostics (check engine lights, etc.) to help prioritize scheduling.

Assist with organizing paperwork, checks, and maintaining an orderly office.

Prepare next-day parts delivery carts and coordinate after-hours pickup arrangements.

Maintain cleanliness of the office, break room, and bathroom.

Replenish office supplies, printer paper, coffee pods, cups, and cleaning items.

Close the office daily by batching out the credit card machine, turning off devices, and locking up.

Other responsibilities include cleaning of office, break-room and bathroom. Replenishing office and coffee supplies. Posting online eBay part sales.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Prior experience in customer service or automotive services is a plus.

Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.

Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills.

Comfortable using computers and basic office software.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Willingness to occasionally assist with moving vehicles and lifting items.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour
