Front Desk Receptionist/Administrative Assistant Jobs in Houston, TX at Givens & Johnston PLLC

We are a small, specialized law firm (10 lawyers) focused on international trade and customs law matters. We are seeking a professional and friendly Front Desk Receptionist/Secretary to serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, while providing administrative support to our attorneys and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist clients, visitors, and vendors in a professional manner

Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails

Manage incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and office supplies

Maintain a clean and organized front office area

Provide administrative support, including scheduling, scanning, filing, and document formatting

Assist with basic office and clerical tasks as needed

Qualifications:

Prior receptionist or front office experience preferred, ideally in a professional services setting

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Reliable, punctual, and comfortable handling sensitive information with discretion

Interest in law or international trade a plus, but not required

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping an office running smoothly and takes pride in delivering a welcoming and efficient front desk experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
