Sports medicine physician practice looking for a highly motivated individual to join one of our SMASA locations at our Stone Oak Location as the Front Desk Team Lead
Responsibilities: In addition to being able to adequately perform all Non-Team-Lead Patient
Experience duties, the Front Desk Team Lead role will:
Serve as a resource for all front desk team members by fielding questions and providing
adequate resolutions and answers to the staff initiating questions.
Ensure staff members can process all aspects of front desk duties timely and accurately.
Assist Director of Patient Experience in developing scripting for the team, as well as
ensuring compliance and overall performance of team.
Provide new hire training and guidance during the initial hire onboarding period for new
staff as it relates to the operations and performance of the role.
Assist Director of Patient Experience in the interview and selection process of new staff.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma
Experience: Two to Five years of front desk experience
Performance Requirements:
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Knowledge of medical scheduling practices and regulations, both external and internal.
Ability to communicate in a professional manner with outside representatives to resolve
patient accounts.
Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
Ability to analyze and understand complex written communication.
Ability to handle multiple projects while working front desk duties.
Knowledge of EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and basis computer skills
