Role Description The Front Office Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Petaling Jaya Marriott Hotel in Petaling Jaya. This role oversees day-to-day front office operations, including reception, guest check-in and check-out, reservations coordination, and lobby management. The Front Office Manager leads and schedules front office team members, ensures adherence to hotel policies and brand standards, and resolves guest issues promptly and professionally. Responsibilities include monitoring room availability and revenue opportunities, managing guest communications, and maintaining accurate records and reports. The role also involves training and coaching team members, collaborating with other departments to deliver seamless guest experiences, and consistently driving high levels of guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Strong Front Office and Customer Service skills, with experience managing reception, check-in/check-out, and guest inquiries.
  • Proven ability to drive Customer Satisfaction through professional, courteous, and solution-focused interactions.
  • Solid Office Administration capabilities, including documentation, reporting, and efficient use of hotel systems and software.
  • Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, team members, and management.
  • Previous supervisory or managerial experience in a hotel front office or related hospitality role.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by hotel operations.
  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered.
