Role Description The Front Office Receptionist is a full-time, on-site role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur. This role is responsible for greeting visitors, managing the front desk, and ensuring a professional and welcoming reception area. Daily tasks include answering and directing phone calls, managing visitor registration and badges, coordinating meeting room bookings, and handling incoming mail or deliveries. The Receptionist will also support basic administrative duties, such as updating records, preparing simple correspondence, and assisting internal teams with front office needs. This position requires consistent, high-quality customer service to visitors, clients, and colleagues, while maintaining CBRE GWS standards and workplace procedures.
Qualifications
- Strong front office and receptionist duties skills, including managing a reception desk and visitor flow.
- Demonstrated customer service capabilities, with a focus on professional, courteous, and responsive interactions.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact confidently with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficient phone etiquette, including answering, screening, and routing calls in a professional manner.
- Basic administrative and computer skills (e.g., MS Office, email, calendar systems) and ability to learn new workplace tools.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work on-site full-time in WP. Kuala Lumpur and collaborate positively with cross-functional teams.
- Previous experience in a front office, hospitality, or customer-facing role is preferred; relevant vocational or diploma-level education is an advantage.
