Governance and Executive Support Officer

About the Role

Reporting to the CEO, the Governance and Executive Support Officer provides high-quality governance and administrative support to the Board, its committees and the CEO.

This role is offered as a job-share, with primary responsibility for Board support and shared responsibility across executive support, stakeholder engagement, administration and events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Board and sub-committee meetings, agendas, papers and minutes
  • Maintain governance records, policies, registers and compliance documentation
  • Support AGM processes, Board appointments and Director inductions
  • Provide executive support to the CEO, including correspondence and briefings
  • Act as a key point of contact for Board members, stakeholders and partners
  • Provide office administration support, including basic finance processes
  • Assist with delivery of member events and advocacy activities

Some out-of-hours work is required for Board meetings and events.

About You

You are a highly organised professional, confident in supporting senior leaders and Boards, and work well in a small, dynamic, multi-skilled team.

You will bring:

  • Experience in governance and/or executive support roles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience preparing agendas, minutes and reports
  • Excellent organisation, time management and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small, collaborative team

Qualifications in business administration, governance, or a related field are desirable.

What’s on Offer

  • Part-time role (0.4–0.5 FTE) with flexibility
  • Salary $90,000–$95,000 FTE + super
