Front Desk Agent
We are currently hiring for 1 full time and one part time agent
* 5 shifts either or both rotating- 3pm-11pm or 1pm-9pm, based on events & occupancy
* Part Time 2-3 shift per week must be open to work on WEEKENDS

Front Desk Agents are responsible for greeting and registering the guest providing outstanding guest service during their stay and settling the guest’s account upon completion of their stay. Primary responsibilities include: registering guests making and modifying reservations, hotel operator and concierge duties. Providing attentive courteous and efficient service to all guests prior to arrival and throughout their stay while maximizing room
MUST PASS BACKGROUND CHECK
Prior experience with IHG & Opera a plus!
Qualifications/ Requirements:
· Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
· Well-groomed and professional in appearance
· Willing to work on weekends and holidays if required
· Effective communication skills
· Ability to stand 7-8 hours
· Previous experience in customer service, front desk service, or other related fields
· Ability to build rapport with guests
· Strong organizational skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
GENERAL: Provide exceptional customer service to all guests staying in the hotel or eating in the restaurant. Check guests in and out, confirm and up sell reservations via the telephone, answer all phone calls in 3 rings, accept payment for gift shop sales, promote and enroll guest in IHG Rewards, provide information about local area; things to see and do, issue parking documents, post credit card & cash payments. Adhere to all brand and company policies.
PEOPLE: Communicate with other hotel departments as necessary to resolve discrepancies and to request or provide information. Promote team work and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other departments.
GUEST EXPERIENCE: Perform all Guest Service Representative functions as required; may assist in booking room reservations; answering hotel phone calls and checking guests in and out. Act as hotel system liaison. Call in and open tickets with Opera, or System Support if a system fails or issues occur.

Pay: $15.00 – $16.00 per hour
