Position: Full-Time Personal Assistant and House Manager

Location: Upper East Side, New York City – Private Residence

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, approximately 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, with fl exibility for occasional evenings and occasional weekends as the schedule is constantly evolving.

Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience, plus paid vacation and select holidays.

We are seeking an exceptionally polished, service-driven Personal Assistant/House Manager to support the daily operations of a highly refi ned Upper East Side residence. This position requires a proactive, highly organized professional who excels at anticipating needs, maintaining impeccable standards, and providing seamless personal support within a very sophisticated private home environment.

The ideal candidate will possess a warm and discreet demeanor, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage a very busy calendar for the principal and balance household management with elevated personal service. This role is best suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands luxury service standards (think 5 star hotel), and takes pride in creating an environment that is calm, organized, and effortlessly maintained.

A strong understanding of complex EA/PA calendar management, travel coordination and preparation, guest hospitality, household coordination, and day-to-day principal support is essential. Candidates must be technologically savvy, flexible, collaborative, and comfortable managing multiple priorities with grace and efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities

Principal & Personal Support

● Provide thoughtful day-to-day support to the single principal and adult child and the household.

● Anticipate needs and proactively assist with ever-changing schedules and priorities.

● Ability to manage daily logistics, appointments, travel, and household needs.

● Prepare daily essentials including wardrobe selections, garments, accessories, meals-to-go, and event readiness.

● Manage personal errands, reservations, returns, shopping, and specialty requests.

● Maintain discretion and confi dentiality at all times.

Wardrobe & Personal Presentation Management

● Oversee the complete care and organization of an extensive wardrobe and accessory collection.

● Maintain detailed knowledge of garments, shoes, handbags, jewelry, and seasonal inventory.

● Inspect clothing daily and ensure pieces are cleaned, pressed, repaired, and presentation-ready.

● Coordinate tailoring, dry cleaning, shoe repair, and specialty garment care.

● Steam, press, organize, and prepare clothing for daily wear, travel, and events.

● Assist with dressing preparation and ensure wardrobes remain meticulously maintained.

Travel Preparation & Packing

● Execute highly detailed packing and unpacking for monthly travel.

● Follow detailed wardrobe plans, outfi t references, and packing instructions with precision.

● Ensure all garments and accessories are prepared and available prior to departures.

● Manage travel-related shopping, garment preparation, and organization before and after trips.

Household Operations & Home Management

● Oversee daily housekeeper who comes in the morning everyday for a few hours to clean.

● Oversee the day-to-day functionality and presentation of the residence.

● Conduct daily walkthroughs to ensure all spaces remain immaculate, organized, and guest-ready.

● Oversee heavy package coordination, inventory and returns.

● Responsible for household inventories, pantry stocking, household supplies, and vendor services.

● Schedule and oversee household repairs, maintenance appointments, and household service providers.

● Maintain organized storage systems and updated inventories throughout the home.

● Liaise with vendors, repair professionals, and household support staff as needed.

Hospitality & Guest Service

● Create a welcoming and elevated experience for family members and frequent guests.

● Prepare guest rooms and coordinate personalized amenities prior to arrivals.

● Serve as the primary point of contact for guest requests during stays.

● Assist with home entertaining, including formal dinners, gatherings, and larger annual events.

● Support weekly business meeting service and hospitality within the residence.

Household Support

● Manage grocery shopping and household provisioning for the family and guests.

● Oversee part time housekeeper who comes daily for a few hours to ensure household standards are consistently maintained.

Pet Care

● Manage complete care for a small dog including walks or dogwalker, feeding, grooming coordination, and veterinary appointments.
