This role is based in Balangan Uluwatu, and Bvlgari Uluwatu. You will need to be willing to travel between 2 locations.
The Housekeepeer is responsible for ensuring that all villas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, functionality, and guest readiness. The role serves as the primary point of coordination for the housekeeping team, ensuring daily tasks are completed efficiently and company standards are consistently met.
In addition to housekeeping responsibilities, the Housekeeping Leader supports the Villa Manager in coordinating day-to-day operations.
When the Villa Manager is off duty, the Housekeeping Leader acts as the on-site operational coordinator to ensure smooth communication among departments, timely responses to guest requests, and uninterrupted daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Housekeeping Operations
Coordinate and participate in daily housekeeping activities across all villas.
Ensure all villas, guest rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, outdoor spaces, and common areas are maintained in accordance with company cleanliness and presentation standards.
Conduct routine inspections of villas to verify cleanliness, functionality, and readiness before guest arrivals.
Ensure housekeeping equipment, cleaning materials, and supplies are used properly, stored safely, and maintained in good condition.
Identify and report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.
Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness at all times.
2. Villa Readiness
Complete the Daily Villa Checklist before every guest check-in to ensure the villa is fully prepared for arrival.
Verify that all guest amenities, linens, toiletries, kitchen equipment, and operational facilities are complete and in excellent condition.
Coordinate with Engineering, Pool Maintenance, Landscaping, and other operational teams to resolve any outstanding issues before guest arrival.
Ensure every villa is presented according to the company’s quality and hospitality standards.
3. Operational Coordination
When the Villa Manager is off duty, the Housekeeping Leader is responsible for coordinating daily operational activities by:
Preparing and communicating the daily work schedule for operational staff.
Coordinating housekeeping priorities and daily operational activities.
Responding promptly and professionally to guest messages, inquiries, and requests.
Coordinating with Engineering, Pool Maintenance, Landscaping, Security, and other operational departments to ensure smooth operations.
Escalating urgent operational issues to the Villa Manager or Management when necessary.
Preparing and submitting a Daily Operational Report summarizing operational activities, villa status, guest requests, and outstanding issues.
4. Inventory Management
Monitor housekeeping supplies, linens, equipment, and operational materials.
Prepare and submit inventory requests for all villas to the Villa Manager.
Coordinate and support inventory stock takes for all non-consumable operational assets based on the approved inventory list.
Report damaged, missing, or low-stock items promptly.
Ensure inventory is stored, organized, and maintained properly.
5. Guest Service
Assist with guest check-ins whenever required.
Ensure guests are welcomed into villas that meet the company’s presentation and cleanliness standards.
Respond to guest requests professionally, courteously, and in a timely manner.
Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure guest requests and operational issues are resolved efficiently.
Support the delivery of exceptional guest experiences through proactive service and attention to detail.
6. Communication & Reporting
Maintain effective communication with the Villa Manager and all operational departments.
Report housekeeping progress, maintenance issues, guest feedback, inventory concerns, and operational updates accurately and promptly.
Complete all required operational reports, inspection records, housekeeping checklists, and inventory documentation.
Ensure important operational information is communicated clearly during shift handovers.
7. Continuous Improvement
Promote continuous improvement in housekeeping standards and operational efficiency.
Identify opportunities to improve workflows, cleanliness standards, and guest satisfaction.
Encourage a positive working environment through teamwork, initiative, and accountability.
Support the implementation of company policies, operational procedures, and service standards.
Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to delivering consistent service excellence.

All villas are consistently guest-ready before scheduled check-in times.
Housekeeping standards and inspection scores meet company expectations.
Daily operational coordination is maintained effectively during the Villa Manager’s absence.
Guest requests are responded to promptly and resolved efficiently.
Daily work schedules, operational reports, and villa checklists are completed accurately and on time.
Inventory requests and stock takes are completed accurately with minimal discrepancies.
Housekeeping team members are effectively guided, trained, and supported in their daily responsibilities.
Strong teamwork and communication are maintained across all operational departments.
