Job Overview
The Parkman Hotel is seeking a full time Dual Department Associate. Duties will be split between Housekeeping and Front Desk. You’ll play a vital role in creating a welcoming and spotless environment for our guests and staff. This position offers an energetic, fast-paced work experience with no overnight shifts. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will ensure our facility remains clean, comfortable, and inviting at all times. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces using industry-standard cleaning techniques and equipment
- Wash, dry, fold and stain sort hotel laundry
- Stock closets for housekeeping; linens, room supplies, cleaning supplies
- Perform periodic inventory counts of linen and supplies
- Inspect clean rooms for guest readiness
- Occasional cleaning of guest rooms
- Assist with front desk responsibilities such as greeting guests, checking in/out, and providing excellent customer service
- Support hotel operations by coordinating with management on maintenance or guest requests that require attention
- Work one to two 2pm-9pm desk shifts per week
- Answer phones and assist guests with reservations
- Assist on property guests
- Check guests in/ and out
- Assist in covering call outs
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services within hospitality settings
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to work efficiently during busy swing shifts without supervision
- Familiarity with cleaning products, safety protocols, and sanitation standards

Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour
