Job Description:

The HR Administrative Assistant plays a key role in supporting the Power Systems Division by managing administrative functions and coordinating employee-related activities that keep the division running efficiently. This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, people-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support

Provide direct administrative support to the divisional leadership team.
Plan and coordinate meetings, training sessions, and divisional events, both large and small. This is a key part of the role.
Maintain office supplies, distribute mail, and handle general office duties.
Coordinate the leadership team’s travel arrangements (domestic and international).
Analyze and manage incoming and outgoing communications, facilitating appropriate distribution and response, prioritizing appropriately.

Human Resources Support

Accurately manage employee records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
Assists in carrying out policies and procedures and being a resource to employees.
Support the full recruitment cycle for job postings.
Coordinate wellness events, employee training, and employee experience initiatives.
Support new hire paperwork, orientation, and onboarding coordination.
Assist HR team with data entry in HRIS systems (Workday & Dayforce).
Support benefits and payroll inquiries in coordination with the HR teams.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an administrative and/or HR support role; experience in manufacturing or engineering setting is a plus.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Displays strong confidentiality, professionalism, and has an employee service mindset.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with HRIS systems preferred.
Able to manage multiple priorities, detail-oriented, problem-solve independently, and self-directed.
Proven ability to work well in teams and with all levels of within the organization.
