Role Description The HR and Administrative Assistant is a full-time hybrid role based in Kathmandu, with a mix of on-site work and some flexibility for work from home. This role supports day-to-day HR operations, including maintaining employee records, assisting with recruitment and onboarding, coordinating training, and supporting performance and attendance processes. The assistant also manages administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, organizing meetings, handling correspondence, preparing documents, and maintaining files. Daily responsibilities include responding to staff and patient inquiries, providing front-desk or reception support as needed, and ensuring smooth coordination between clinical, administrative, and management teams. The role requires consistent professionalism, discretion with confidential information, and a focus on effective communication and customer service.
Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess skills in Human Resources (HR), including basic knowledge of HR policies, employee documentation, recruitment support, and onboarding.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Executive Administrative Assistance and Administrative Assistance, including scheduling, document preparation, meeting coordination, and office organization.
  • Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, active listening, and the ability to interact effectively with staff and patients.
  • Candidates should possess Customer Service skills, including a professional, patient-focused approach, problem-solving abilities, and a respectful, supportive attitude.
  • Additional beneficial qualifications include proficiency with office software (e.g., MS Office, email tools), experience in healthcare or hospital settings, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Management, or a related field is preferred, along with prior experience in HR or administrative roles.
