Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator to join our team. The Human Resources Manager will oversee all HR operations across multiple dealership locations. This role is responsible for talent acquisition, employee relations, training and development, compliance, benefits administration, and driving a high-performance, values-driven culture. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and capable of managing the complexities of a dynamic retail automotive environment. This role is essential in supporting various HR functions and ensuring smooth operations within the department. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a solid systems.

Duties

Manage employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.

Maintain and update the HRIS database to ensure accurate employee information.

Support payroll processing by preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts as necessary.

Collaborate with finance teams on accounts receivable and general ledger reconciliation tasks.

Provide assistance in governmental accounting processes and ensure adherence to relevant regulations.

Utilize software such as Paychex, ADP, Workday, or similar platforms for HR functions.

Prepare reports on HR metrics and assist in strategic planning for workforce management.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably in retail, automotive, or multi-site operations.

Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Proficient in HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to travel between locations as needed (typically within the region).

Proven experience in human resources or related field is preferred.

Familiarity with financial concepts including accounts receivable, technical accounting, and journal entries.

Proficiency in using HRIS systems; experience with Workday or Paychex is a plus.

Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and professionally.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Knowledge of governmental accounting practices is advantageous but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
