Job Description
Provide administrative support to the Director (calendar, creating meeting agendas and materials, and setting up forthcoming interviews to stand up the Branch).
Serve as central Point of Contact (POC) for signatory and important correspondence for the Office of the Director (OD) leadership.
Additional data entry and administrative support as needed.
Receive important and sensitive documents from partners across the Agency, the Department, review them for completeness and editorial accuracy, and ensure deadlines are met.
Review outgoing correspondence submitted for Executive signature to ensure editorial accuracy and completeness.
Conduct data entry and provide management, clerical, and administrative support, performing standard office procedures.
Provide end-user support and perform general administrative duties.
Job Requirements
Minimum of two (2) years administrative experience required.
Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills required, including excellent grammar and editorial skills.
Must be able to independently juggle multiple activities coming from a variety of people, working with leadership to get input in prioritization but keeping everything moving forward without requiring significant direction.
Must have strong attention to detail and great flexibility in responding to changing priorities.
Must have the highest standards of customer service and be able to maintain a professional working relationship with all members of the office.
Must have exceptional skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience supporting project efforts is preferred.
Knowledge of Federal HR terminology, operations, procedures, and requirements is preferred.
