Key Responsibilities:

Employee Relations & Manager Support – Serve as a first point of contact for employee relations concerns and assist managers with day-to-day employee matters. Support and coach managers on human resource-related policies and practices.
Leave and Compliance Management – Oversee and manage Workers’ Compensation claims, Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Benefits Support – Serve as a go-to resource for more complex benefits-related questions, working in tandem with the Human Resource Coordinator. Assist in administering annual open enrollment and other benefits-related initiatives.
Annual Human Resource Processes – Drive key annual initiatives such as performance feedback, compensation adjustments, open enrollment, and the Top Workplace survey.
Project Support – Support new initiatives coordinating rollout, communication, and tracking.
Payroll – Act as a backup for payroll processing.

What You Bring:

Two to four years of progressive human resource experience, preferably in a generalist capacity.
Solid understanding of employment laws and leave management (FMLA, ADA, Workers’ Compensation).
Exceptional organizational and follow-up skills—you’re the type who doesn’t let things fall through the cracks.
Strong interpersonal communication and ability to build trust at all levels of the organization.
Bilingual (Spanish) a plus but not required.
Experience with ADP or other HRIS systems a plus.
