The Oaks Academy is a secure post-adjudication facility located in Brownwood, Texas that provides comprehensive services to young men (13-17), using a trauma-informed, strength-based, gender responsive model. Through rigorous education, positive skill development, and individualized therapeutic interventions and treatment, we empower youth to reach their full potential. The facility features group, individual, and family therapy, on-site schooling, individual dorm rooms, and extracurricular opportunities for the young men. Pay: $64,000/annually

What you will do: The Human Resources Generalist / Manager works as a member of the Human Resources Team. Primarily responsible for the oversight of all Human Resources functions for the site to ensure that the Human Resources goals and objectives are met. The Human Resources Generalist / Manager reports to the site Program Director and/or other designated supervisors and the Corporate Human Resources Director. This position directly supervises Human Resources and Training staff. Depending on location, designated staff are directly supervised.
To be considered you should: Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field ~ Be at least 21 years of age ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry ~ Must meet the requirements to become an ROP eligible driver, including having a valid Driver’s License
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
