About the Role

We are looking for a proactive, hands-on and people-oriented HR Manager to lead the Employee Engagement and HR Administration functions. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, build a positive workplace culture, and ensure smooth HR and office administration. The ideal candidate is highly organised, technology savvy, comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot to improve work efficiency, and able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

1. Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Plan, organise and execute employee engagement programmes, staff events, wellbeing initiatives and recognition activities.
  • Drive initiatives that strengthen company culture, employee experience and retention.
  • Conduct employee surveys, analyse feedback and recommend improvement actions.
  • Partner with leaders to enhance employee communication, engagement and morale.
  • Support internal communication and employer branding initiatives.

2. HR Administration & Office Administration

  • Oversee HR administrative processes and maintain accurate employee records.
  • Review and continuously improve HR policies, SOPs and administrative processes.
  • Ensure HR documentation complies with company policies and employment legislation.
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities.
  • Prepare HR reports, dashboards and administrative KPIs.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Manage general office administration, including office supplies, stationery and company assets.
  • Administer company Touch 'n Go cards, access cards, insurance matters and other corporate administrative requirements.
  • Liaise with external vendors and service providers to ensure smooth office operations.
  • Coordinate staff accommodation or hostel administration where applicable.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in HR, covering employee engagement, HR administration and office administration.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic organisation.
  • Strong project management and event management skills.
  • Technology savvy and proficient in Microsoft 365 and digital workplace tools.
  • Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot or similar platforms to improve productivity and work efficiency.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical, organised and detail-oriented.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience managing staff accommodation or hostels is an added advantage.
  • Experience in retail, F&B, manufacturing or multi-site operations is an added advantage.
