The HR & Payroll Assistant will support day-to-day HR operations, payroll administration, and recruitment coordination for our Indonesian workforce, while working closely with global contractors and systems. This is a hands-on, foundational role for someone early in their HR career who already has real exposure to Indonesian payroll and HR administration — and who is looking to build on that experience rather than repeat it.
Job Requirements
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: at least 1 year of hands-on experience in HR administration, local recruitment, and Indonesian payroll processing.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with BPJS portals (SIPP & E-Dabu) and modern HRIS platforms (e.g., Mekari, Deel, HiBob).
- Language: Fluency in English (written and verbal) is non-negotiable, as you will interact daily with a global, cross-cultural team.

Job Responsibilities
Payroll Processing
- Manage end-to-end administration for BPJS Kesehatan and Ketenagakerjaan, including registration, data updates, and deactivation.
- Check and validate payroll components for Indonesian employees and global contractors.
Recruitment Support (Indonesia)
- Candidate Screening: Conduct initial screening interviews to assess culture fit and basic qualifications for Indonesian candidates
- Coordination: Support the Recruiter by scheduling interviews and managing follow-ups between hiring managers and candidates.
Onboarding & Offboarding Coordination
- Onboarding: Support the pre-onboarding process to ensure new hires feel integrated and prepared from Day 1.
- Documentation: Support the preparation and filing of employment contracts and addendum.
- Offboarding: Support offboarding procedures with high compliance standards to ensure a professional and positive exit experience.
HR Administration
- Manage and maintain employee data, attendance, leave, and other related HR documents.
- Ensure compliance with administrative procedures and company policies in the HR operations.
- Support in verifying employees' and contractors' reimbursement forms (travel, equipment purchase, etc.) are properly completed and supported by valid documentation.
