Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Specialist to support our human resources operations within the automotive industry. The HR Specialist will play a key role in recruiting, compliance, training, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will have prior HR experience in an automotive setting and a strong understanding of labor laws and workforce dynamics typical in the auto sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding:
Coordinate full-cycle recruitment process.
Develop and post job advertisements, screen resumes, and schedule interviews.
Manage onboarding processes including new hire paperwork, orientations, and training schedules.
Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure compliance with labor laws, OSHA standards, and company policies.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
Prepare HR metrics and reports for leadership.
Training & Development:
Coordinate training programs for new and existing employees.
Track training completion and maintain training documentation.
Benefits Administration:
Assist with open enrollment, benefits changes, and employee inquiries.
Liaise with benefit providers as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
2–4 years of HR experience, preferably in an automotive or manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
PHR or SHRM-CP certification (preferred but not required).
Bilingual is a plus.
Working Conditions:
Office and production floor environment.
Occasional travel between facilities or job fairs may be required.
